A real life virus example

We discovered the NSUDO.EXE file recently on a customers computer. Is it a virus? How can you be sure? Fortunately our security software identified the file and cleaned it as you can see in the detection report below.

Actually, the file could be a legitimate tool used for administrative purposes. It could also be a tool for hackers to elevate administrator privileges then do really bad stuff on your computer systems.

It’s important that you have adequate anti-virus software to catch this sort of thing. We also recommend EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) software in case this sort of program gets by your AV.
